Java preanger is also often called malabar coffee because the coffee seeds were brought directly by the Dutch from Malabar, India. This coffee has a strong caramel aroma and a light and soft character. Apart from the strong sweetness, the acidity of Arabica coffee is also no less powerful. It has a fragrant scent that is useful for relaxation when someone breathes it.

Derived from Arabica coffee plants grown in the Priangan plateau in West Java Province, namely areas that have agro-climates suitable for Arabica type coffee cultivation. Planted in highland areas with a minimum altitude of 900 meters above sea level (asl), which has cold and dry air, and rainfall between 2,000 – 3,000 mm / year and wet months between 6-7 months each year.

Gotten from arabica espresso plants which are framed from chose and unrivaled assortments which are planted under shade trees and developed on biological standards that pay attention to environmental sustainability, and are fertilized mainly by using organic fertilizers with the concept of farming Low External Input or External Low -Input and Sustainable Agriculture (LEISA).

The cultivated Arabica coffee varieties are Typica arabica coffee, S-795 (S-Line), Sigararutang, Kartika, Catimor and Andung Sari.

Included in Highland Bandoeng, is coffee grown in the region: Mount Cikuray, Mount Papandayan, Mount Malabar, Mount Caringin, Mount Tilu, Mount Patuha, Mount Halu and Mount Beser.

  • Java PreangerArabica Coffee from Soenda Mountain

Included in Soenda Mountain, are coffee grown in the region: Mount Burangrang, Mount Tangkuban Perahu and Mount Manglayang.
